What he's getting at is this: even when chaos is all around, we're not doomed to the same fate as everyone else. Why? Because we're operating on a whole different level, thanks to our co-ascension in the Kingdom. We're playing the game from the high ground, so to speak.

This means we don't have to accept every bad break as our due. We're not bound by the same rules.

Take Jesus' ordeal on the cross. Talk about a rough patch. He was literally hung out to dry by the very folks he came to help. And his squad? They bailed, except for John. But Jesus didn't let the story end there. He went through death, sure, but he didn't stop at coming back to life.

He went higher – he ascended. That's the ultimate level-up.
