Pivot Your Priorities

Hey Friend,

"Faith without works is dead!" It's a pretty powerful reminder. It's during these times we really get to see what we're made of and what truly matters to us.

Are we all talk, or are we ready to walk the walk?

Let's be real, starting something new is always exciting, but that excitement can quickly fizzle out when we're hit with the reality of the hard work it requires. It's like deciding to run a marathon; the idea sounds great until you actually have to start training every day.

Take the children of Israel, for example. They were all hyped up about reaching the promised land, but when they realized it wasn't going to be a walk in the park, their enthusiasm waned.

They said they had faith, but when it was time to show it through action, they hesitated.

Here's the deal: faith is more than just believing. It's about putting those beliefs into action, even when the path isn't clear. It's about working towards our goals while trusting that God's got our backs.

But here's where it gets tricky. Sometimes, we get our priorities all mixed up, focusing more on what we're doing rather than why we're doing it. And when we don't manage what God has given us wisely, we risk losing it all and having to start from scratch.

Not exactly the outcome any of us want, right?

Life's challenges and crises are inevitable, but they also give us a chance to stop, take a good look at our lives, and realign ourselves with God's will and purpose. Remember, surrendering to God isn't about giving up; it's about gaining life, prosperity, and honor (Proverbs 22:4).

So, what's the takeaway here?

Don't let tough times send you into a tailspin. Instead, see them as an opportunity to pivot. Reevaluate your priorities, and then move forward with both faith and action.
